Hidden Valley/Eastside Subdivision Home Elevation
Project Location: Hidden Valley is located along the east side of the Truckee Meadows, off of Pembroke Drive in
Washoe County. The eastside subdivision and Rosewood
Lakes areas are in the same general area southeast of
McCarran Blvd., off of Pembroke Drive.
Project Overview: Elevate individual homes 2-8 feet
depending on location and degree of potential flooding
Timeline: Adoption of Ordinance creating Truckee River
Flood Protection Financial Assistance Program byBoard
of County Commissioners 5.25.10. Homeowner meeting
scheduled June 30th.
Total Costs: To be determined
Funding Agencies: Truckee River Flood Project
Contracting Agencies: Homeowners will individually
contract for elevating their home. A separate contract
with Washoe County will be required.
